I was introduced to yoga philosophy in my teens, and started postural yoga practice in the 90's. I began teaching in 2004 after over a decade of study. My passion for learning has fueled a long-term study of both knowledge systems of yoga and Ayurveda, which helps me share these intact practices authentically with students who seek to develop a traditional, grounded and sensible yogic and Ayurvedic lifestyle.
I serve as a steward of the land, and teach yoga and Ayurveda in the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts. I have a deep reverence and love for this very special part of our world: the unceded, ancestral, shared lands of three Native peoples: the Mohican, Nipmuc and Pocumtuc.
